Subject: Microsoft 365 Integration — Early Access
Good day!
We are developing a new integration for Microsoft 365 via the Microsoft Graph API. This covers what's happening inside a Microsoft 365 tenant — users, licensing, and service usage. The commercial side (customers, subscriptions, invoices) is covered by our separate Microsoft CSP integration.
As we continue developing the API endpoints, we are looking for customers who would like to participate in the early access phase. Here is what is on the development list and what each set is intended to power:
Tenant Directory
Organization details and registered domains with verification status — the tenant baseline that everything else joins to, along with all verified domains for the tenant.
Users & Licenses
Full user directory with assignment status, plus a tenant-level license summary showing assigned versus total seats — surfaces unassigned licenses and right-sizing opportunities before renewal.
Groups
Security and Microsoft 365 groups — the foundation for group-based reporting and license grouping.
Active User Adoption
Active user detail across all Microsoft 365 workloads over a 30-day window — the core dataset for license ROI and adoption tracking.
Mailbox & OneDrive Storage
Per-user mailbox and OneDrive usage — supports storage monitoring, quota planning, and identifying dormant accounts.
Teams & SharePoint Collaboration
Per-user Teams activity and per-site SharePoint usage — shows where collaboration is actually happening and which deployments have stalled.
Email Activity
Per-user email send and receive activity — rounds out the communication picture alongside Teams.

As an MSP we manage our customers' M365 tenants. It would be extremely useful to be able to monitor M365/Office license counts by type. Those are the main things for now.
I know there is a separate integration for Teams, but I don't think it is really built out yet and it uses Microsoft Graph so I'm not sure why this is separated. Our service desk uses Teams Phones which is an incredible solution, but we have no way outside a separate proprietary portal to see voicemails being left. Ideally, we would be able to see all kinds of stats regarding call-ins. i.e. dropped calls, how many seconds on hold, # of voice mails left by date, etc.

Have a very specific use case and I am wondering if you can help. We have a need to track the number of available licenses, unassigned, of a couple of different license types for 1 tenant and send an alert if those drop below a certain level. Is this something you can help us with? I know you didn’t have a native M365 integration the last time I was looking at this. Anything yet? We could potentially do it through Liongard, I’m just not a fan of the data being 2 hops away in that case. Would rather get it directly from the source in real time.
