Allowing technicians to manually select a filter
development queue

Some technicians occasionally jump into another group’s queue to help with tickets (e.g., Alpha team assisting Bravo). Allowing technicians to manually select a filter would be more efficient. This way, they can choose the group they’re assisting that day rather than being limited to assisting one or all groups.
It would be great if there was a way to achieve this functionality via the web interface (e.g., dropdown) and via Teams (e.g., command). If the tech chooses to help another team, they select that team’s filter and it removes whatever filter they are currently assigned to. We don’t want both filters operating at the same time. Upon completion, they would select they’re normal filter OR perhaps it resets to what is configured in User Management at midnight. I’m just throwing ideas out.

Hi all,
Sharing good news on this one! We're making progress on this feature. Here's the timeline:
- Web UI for admins (Connectwise PSA only): End of April
- Teams command for technician (Connectwise PSA only): Mid-May
- Web UI and Teams command for Autotask: Mid-May
We've split the development into phases to ensure a smooth rollout. We'll keep you updated on any changes. Thanks for your patience and feedback!

Hi Ray Chavez,
I made some mockups about how it will be in Teams and NT App:
- Techs can send Teams command to set a temporary filter for themselves, as well as the effective time
- Admins can view the temporary filters for all techs in the web app, and can set it for all techs as well
Please have a look at this file and let us know what you think, thanks! https://www.figma.com/board/A4QVEaISubbij77O9zrtTy/Next-Ticket-Wireframes?node-id=0-1&t=AL2DMhPZtrIp6je9-1

Micus - These mockups are great! Couple observations:
- NT Filter command would be simpler for tech if possible
- Bot response header would be Next Ticket Filter then perhaps identify 'Current Filter' assigned and state whether default or temporary. This would be helpful if tech needs to know which they are currently using if forget or need to change back to default quicker than whatever duration was set.
- Default start time of current and end time of 1 hour after current would reduce clicks if possible
- Reset button perhaps Reset to Default so they know what it does at glance?
- For web admin, is it possible to see Temporary Filter as dropdown like other fields? Would make it easier to set for single tech when batch isn't required.
Appreciate the work on this Micus
