Role/User Login Simulation for Access and Functionality Testing

Joyce
I would like this to be available as login as a role or as a specified user.
I need this to be able to test what things roles have access to as well as testing if slicers for dashboards are working as intended with out having to make something go find a tier 1 or 2 have them login and look then go back to my desk make changes. Repeat until working.
Out rmm has this function if you would like an example of how you could implement this.

Dear Tyler Tanner
Thanks for your response. When we create a free license role, it doesn't consume the MSPbots license. I’ve recorded a video showing how to create a free role and how to enter MSPbots to test it. To log in, use the email address at: https://app.mspbots.ai/emaillogin.
Log in with the email that was created previously, and you should see a screen like the one in Attachment 1.
Please confirm if this resolves your issue. If not, could you share some use cases with us? For example:
- Which role do you want to switch to?
- What assets do you want to test under this role?

Dear Tyler Tanner
Thanks for your patience.
This is a feature request, and we’ll prioritize its development as more clients express interest. It will take some time to implement.
In the meantime, there’s a workaround:
- Create a new user account (email-based) and assign the testing role to this account in Settings → User Management. Refer to the screenshot 1.
- Open an incognito/private browser window, log in with that account and test the functions.
Is it available to solve your issue?

Joyce this does not work unless i pay for additional licensing in msp bots for users that have licensed roles. it would also need me to create additional users and pay for those licenses in Autotask create tickets and time entries in Autotask under those users for testing things like making sure the logged in user is only seeing their own data. neither of these are ideal.
